Had *** Stevens come to my house for a few gutter cleanings. Everything went alright until the last one where their team came out, performed the service and left in a hurry (knocking over my garbage cans on the way out). I went outside to pick up the cans and looked back at the house and noticed that my entire 2nd floor window frame had been completely ripped off. I immediately went up to investigate and the entire thing was missing as well as all the debris that would be there. I immediately contacted them and they asked to send pictures and file a complaint. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing, I had to contact them. They said we’re fully insured to cover damages but we don’t think our team did this so we’re not going to cover any of the damage. So basically, they are insured, but it’s your word vs theirs. It’s completely ridiculous. Just because they say I don’t think my team would have done this, that’s good enough, call it a day it wasn’t done. I have absolutely zero trust in them. They definitely have false advertising in their coverage of damage. Only if their team reports the mistakes they make do they cover. Why would their team report their own mistake? There’s no incentive to do that, it’s customer’s word vs their team’s word….such a con.
