UPDATE (12-15-23) Just received an email from Ned Stevens. It says they WILL honor their warranty even though I am no longer considered a customer. Good to see written commitment.
UPDATE (12-15-23) Only AFTER I responded to Ned Stevens via this posting, did they contact me again, only to tell me that a credit was posted. Not so. Not until I spoke with Gonzalez did he look into the matter and THEN a credit was posted. Originally must have passed it off to a subordinate, who did NOT do it. Pretty much shows how things are done (or NOT done) at Ned Stevens. Then, the amount was the equivalent of ONE gutter cleaning as compensation for the damage done to my lawn. Sodium hypochlorite- (common household bleach, but likely a greater concentration) sprayed onto a grassy lawn drainage area. There was no mention of a refund for the roof cleaning, as I am no longer a customer, and Ned Stevens will NOT honor their two year warranty/guarantee should the roof algae/moss/staining return.
UPDATE: (12-4-23) Contacted by Carlos Gonzalez, COO of Ned Stevens, a WEEK AGO. Basically said to me that they can’t satisfy ME, as though NED STEVENS lousy work was somehow my fault. Gonzalez decided it best to part ways. Gonzalez said he would look into my file to see how to best compensate me for the poor , sloppy mess on this job and the damage caused to my property from the roof cleaning in July, 2023. Have not Heard from him since. A week is surely enough time to credit me for the shoddy work and damage done to my property. ( I have photos ) Be aware that Ned Stevens prefers to conduct all business via phone and not email. I suppose that’s to prevent customers from having any written record trail to follow when there is a problem.I guess I’ll have to go the chargeback route on the credit card. Early December gutter cleaning. Gutters and roof deck MOSTLY blown clean. Debris blown onto my car, INTO MY GARAGE, my driveway and my shrub area and lawn AFTER I had JUST completely cleaned my yard of leaves and was STILL working on the job. I called immediately and spoke to a “supervisor”. FIRST, tried to give me a free cleaning next year (in addition to the one that I was to receive because of the damage done to my lawn after a roof cleaning was performed.) Supervisor said ANOTHER crew would be out the following day BEFORE 10 AM. NO SHOW. FINALLY arrived at almost 2pm. The crew shows me, on their tablet, what was expected to be done. It was NOWHERE EVEN NEAR what I had relayed to the supervisor. Additionally, crews do not speak much or any English. THIS, after I had trouble the first time. I tried contacting Peter Connolly, Group managing director for Ned Stevens via email. I have had NO RESPONSE yet. This outfit is NO LONGER FAMILY owned as they claim on their website. They are owned by Copeba- a Bank located in Brussels, Belgium. Overall, I have had to call them back WAY TOO MANY TIMES. This is it for them.
