This business cleaned the gutters in my home when I moved in 5 years ago. I called to have the gutter cleaned again, they had the house on file, quoted me a price and told me they would be out within a week. A few days later I received a text stating they were on the way to my house, and then shortly after I received another text stating that there was a problem and they would call me back. The next day I received a call stating that they were declining the service because “my roof was too high.” They indicated their safety standards changed, and they could not service me roof. I spoke to Lewis and was dismayed because they had been out there before, and knew the parameters of the house – and that although I realize the roof is tall, it isn’t higher than an average roof.

Although I wasn’t thrilled about the service not being performed as discussed, I am writing a bad review because Lewis was rude and didn’t want to answer my questions about what changed in their service protocol that prevented them from working on my roof. Basically since they didn’t view me as a potential customer, their tone and attitude really changed.

Safety is our number one priority such that we are willing to suffer negative reviews to keep our men safe. Our technicians went to this customer’s home and determined that the job was unsafe. Any crew is allowed to walk away from a job where they feel there is a safety issue. Rich, we are sorry you are upset but safety is one area we are unwilling to compromise.
