Set up an appointment for a simple cleaning. Was told I would be contacted before they arrived. Arrived the next morning with no contact. They set up their ladders and then informed me since the gutter covers were still on, they wouldn’t be able to do any work until I called the company. The company not only never mentioned gutter covers, but also claimed I wouldn’t need to be home during service. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t been home. Because I know what would have happened if I called the company. They would have up-charged me. Will never call again.
Follow up: thankful to say we were not charged, though we did receive a call confirming everything in the review. There was an offer to resume work, but honestly not worth the headache, lack of apology, and frankly condescending tone of the call. It costs nothing to apologize, and they still couldn’t bring themselves to do it.
