Stay away from this company!
I’ve been a loyal customer for several years at 2 different residences. They cleaned my gutters twice in the past year at this house at the same rate. I was on a service plan. I recently renewed my service plan with a small increase in price due to inflation (totally reasonable) I prepaid for 2 cleanings. I waited over a month for a crew to come out. Now it’s mid-December with freezing temps. The crew showed up and left within 1 minute. I assumed it was because it was early morning and frosty and they were not able to do the service due to safety reasons. After numerous calls, I was finally told that it wasn’t due to safety, it was because they could not do the service at my prepaid price. They wanted to charge me an additional $134 which is an increase of 40% over what I was quoted and prepaid for – and paid twice in the past. If there was an issue in price with the size of my house, I surely should have been warned at my last cleaning in the spring. And the company should have never renewed my contract at the same rate. In speaking with the supervisor, they agreed that I was not wrong, that they should have told me about the increase in price after my last cleaning, and should not have renewed my contract at the same price. However, even in admitting that they were at fault, they would not honor the contract that I prepaid for. I have since gotten 2 in person quotes from 2 reputable llc gutter cleaning companies, both of which quoted me the same price I was previously paying Ned Stevens. Terrible customer service, price gauging loyal customers, terrible company. Stay far, far away
