Had gutter guards which stopped my gutters from clogging for 4 years. So when they finally clogged, I called Ned Stevens who said they could clean around them but would need to charge me more….I agreed to it. They also tried to get me into a contract so I asked what discount on the cleanings I would get and they said none. Why do it then? When they came out, I was not home but my wife was. They told her that the kind of gutter guards we had, could not be cleaned around and would need to be taken off. She paid them an extra $100 to remove them. Here is the thing…they not only didn’t put them back on, but took them with them as well so I couldn’t even put them back. When I called them, they said they could not bring them back. I asked to speak to a supervisor who finally agreed to return them to me. Upon return I discovered they had been bent in half and otherwise destroyed. I once again complained and was offered no remedy except to try to sell me new guards or tell me why gutter guards are no good. Why would a gutter cleaning company not like gutter guards..??? Let me think. So I had to call the company who installed the first set I had. $1100 for new gutter guards and $225 for Ned Stevens to remove my old set. I look at it like a $1325 gutter cleaning. Horrible company and even worse customer service
