First, I will say that I used this company for many years to clean my gutters. And over the years I was consistently approached to increase my service plan to more visits per year. However, this recommendation was not based on the actual experience, condition, or location of my property. The recommendation was a generic recommendation for “my area”.
Originally, I had three cleanings per year. This was slowly increased to 6 based on the generic recommendations of “you need one more” visit. With the additional visits, we did not notice any improvements.
In January of this year they showed up for the last visit of the year and the cleaning yielded very little debris from the gutters. I called and asked why I was paying for service in January and that showed little benefit. Apparently this is part of the 6 visit service. I was told by multiple people that it was my choice. When I asked why they were recommending 6 visits for my location, I was given generic answers. It seemed that the company who represented themselves as experts reverted to rookies when they were faced with explaining why they were running unnecessary service.
I gave the company multiple chances to address the issue and provide reasonable customer service, they were more interested in selling me another maintenance contract than addressing the service complaint. They do know how to clean a gutter, but beware of the service contracts as you may end up signing up for more than you need. If you do not want to be over charged, I would try someone else.
